ICE CREAM SHOP
OPENS IN TOWN CENTER - January 2001 - Bubbies,
which offer a variety of unique home-made ice cream flavors
opened in the Town Center near Consolidated Theaters.
RESTAURANTS OPEN IN TOWN CENTER - July
2000 - Genki Ramen, offering various Japanese noodle dishes,
opened in the Town Center next to Supercuts. Also opening was Catch of the Day Sushi adjacent to the theater complex.
ROSS OPENS IN MILILANI SHOPPING CENTER. July
2000 - Ross, a national clothing & apparel chain opened in the space formely occupied
by Longs Drugs.
MEXICAN RESTAURANT OPENS IN MILILANI
SHOPPING CENTER. October 1999 - Cisco's Cantina of Kailua opened a sister
restaurant in the Mililani Shopping Center. The restaurant is open for lunch & dinner
daily from 11:30am.
TOWN CENTER CONTINUES TO EXPAND. November
1998 - Despite the slow local economy, the Town Center of Mililani continues to
expand. Chili's Restaurant is scheduled to open in 1999. Construction also began for a
14-screen Consolidated Theaters complex & space to house Radio Shack & Fun Factory
that are relocating to make room for the theater complex. The Town Center is now the 5th
largest shopping center in Hawaii.
SNACK SHOP ADDED TO TOWN CENTER. March 1998 - All Cracked Up Too
recently opened next to ProfessionNails. The shop carries a broad variety of crackseed
snacks. It also sells the popular guri goodie ice-cream.
CONSOLIDATED THEATER TO EXPAND. March 1998 - Consolidated will build a 14-screen
theater complex in the Town Center. The new movie complex is expected to open in October
1999. Consolidated said that it will continue to operate the existing 5-plex theatre in
the Town Center. The new complex will have space for a restaurant, coffee shop, &
several retail businesses.
TECHNOLOGY PARK GETS NEW TENANT. January 1998 - Boston Communications Group
Inc., which develops & markets call processing & customer support services to
wireless telephone carriers, recently signed a lease to occupy space in the Leilehua
Building at the Mililani Technology Park. The 1,120 sf space will be used for part of a
cellular switching system. Boston Communications is part of Cellular Express Inc.
NEW BUSINESSES OPEN AT TOWN CENTER. December 1997 - Three new businesses
recently opened at the Town Center. Morning Glory, a gift shop is located next to Paradise
Pet Shop. ProfesionNails, a nails salon, opened in the space formerly occupied by Puhi
Hole Poki. And Bronson's, a sit-down restaurant, is in the space formerly occupied by JR's
Restaurant. |
