I agree with you that some argument get absurd. However, I reacted in that manner because I’ve read posts from various individuals complaining about:

a) being able to see the neon light from far distances b) glare (?) caused by the neon affecting a vehicle drivers concentration c) there being too many theaters d) paint color affecting residential home prices e) paint color lessening the appeal of shopping at the Town Center f) a percentage of the population objecting to the theater colors (Mililani Interactive Web Poll about the theater and it reads 112 It's Looks Good, 618 It Looks Ugly, 50 It Doesn't Bother Me. That means 79% of the respondents did not like the theater).

I’m sure that if I keep looking, I could find more frivolous things to mention. I mentioned the absurd in other posts hoping people realize how absurd they are becoming. If people would direct their attention and energies to matters of a truly serious nature (issues concerning real public safety measures, helping/improving the environment, promoting good neighbor relations and helping the community and schools) then perhaps Mililani would be that much closer to perfection!
