Sprint has applied for a conditional use waiver with the Department of Planning and Permitting, for their new 70’ antenna that they plan to build near Mililani Rec. Center IV DPP has not approved the waiver “YET”, however it is now still in the review process. There still is time to let DPP what the residents of Mililani think about the antenna.
Sprint is continuing its attempt to build at this location, even though there was quite a lot of negative feeling from residing neighbors. Our Neighborhood Board had voted on a resolution to request that Sprint, consider other sites further away from the Rec. Center IV location. Apparently Sprint feels that the recommendations of their engineers means more to them than the concerns of the residents.
